I'm a german Furniture (Product) Designer with the remit to design furniture and products that grab the beholders attention and have meaningful significance. I aim to challenge existing expectations and established social behaviour via alternative design methodologies. By experimentation and testing materials, I discover their limits and enduring properties translating these into suitable applications.  

My broad ranging background includes a cabinetmaker apprenticeship in a furniture company (2004-07), a designer in the skilled crafts study at the academy for crafts and design in Wuerzburg, Germany (2007-08) and a Masters Degree in Product Design at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, United Kingdom (2008-09). I also gained work-experience at INFLATE London design company and at Pool22 Berlin design company aswell at Casimir Meubelen in Belgium.
